SCHISM
(REDISCOVER COMMUNICATION)

The new great album by the Tool – 10.000 Days – is sold in a wonderful stereogram book with lenses inside – and there is a very game-like spirit: images and texts hide enigmatic and numeric references (the Fibonacci sequence, with 11 and 23 – 1.1.2.3 – recurring), and the theme of the superimposition itself, evoked by the stereogram, suggests the presence of something hidden, to be understood through superimposition.
A treasure hunt (and what a treasure: a hidden track in the CD!), and a sign of hope: a serious use of the game, different from the 10.000th summer trivia of a magazine, made out of our area (“our area, brothers…”), is what we needed.
The title of the editorial is also related with the Tool and with a communication project that is going to take my next months: see you soon…
